Youth Opportunities launches iOS mobile app

Staff Repoter :: Youth Opportunities, the largest global opportunity discovery platform for young people across the world, today launched its iOS Mobile Application to provide users equal and easy access to different opportunities to the global youth for free.

High Commissioner of Canada to Bangladesh Benoit Préfontaine launched Youth Opportunities iOS Mobile Application at the Software Technology Park at Janata Tower in Dhaka.

Last year, it launched its android mobile application which received the National Mobile Application Award from the ICT Division of the Government of Bangladesh and currently is being used by more than 127,000 users across the globe.

With the growing success of its android mobile application, the demand for iOS mobile application was increasing which promoted the development of Youth Opportunities iOS mobile application. Fully optimised for iOS 12, the app allows youth to seamlessly navigate global opportunities of several categories including scholarships, conferences, exchange programs, and internships.

“I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to Youth Opportunities on its launch of the iOS mobile application. This application connects young people around the world and can provide them with limitless opportunities. This technology has created a free and open-access platform which empowers today’s youth to achieve their educational and career goals. It is an honor for the High Commission of Canada to be part of today’s event and to be connected with the excellent work of Youth Opportunities,” Benoit Préfontaine said. “After launching the android mobile application, we used to get many requests from across the world to develop an iOS mobile application”, said Osama Bin Noor, co-founder of Youth Opportunities.

“Youth Opportunities iOS app will help the youth from around the world to get access to success in no time. This will accelerate the process of their search, for a better tomorrow,” he added.

“The problem of access to opportunities is no less dire in the developed countries than the developing one. Our purpose is to make your access to opportunities is made easier for everyone anywhere. The new iOS mobile application will surely help the users of Apple products to get updated about life-changing opportunities from all over the world,” Makshud Manik, the other co-founder of Youth Opportunities, said in a video message.

Harunur Rashid, former additional secretary (ICT Wing) of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division, said, “I am really glad to be a part of Youth Opportunities as it launches on iOS. Operative youth makes their own way out when we give them a hand, a platform. Hope it reaches the 100,000 user milestone even faster this time”.

“I really liked their tag – access to success. It’s a simple idea yet has a very big effect.” said Corinee Petrisor, counsellor (Commercial Affairs) and senior trade commissioner, High Commission of Canada.

The program was also attended by senior government officials, prominent social and business leaders, respected academicians and media personnel who congratulated the initiative and wished every success in future for Youth Opportunities.

Youth Opportunities has received several awards and recognitions for its value additive works, including the Queen’s Young Leaders Award from Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II in 2016, Forbes Under 30 in Asia, BRAC-Manthan, etc.
