Staff Repoter :: A four-day special celebration program has started at BCS Computer City of IDB building in Agargaon in the city on its 22nd founding anniversary. The event was inaugurated virtually today (Saturday, September 11, 2021) at 11:30 a.m.

Hon’ble Minister Mr. Mustafa Jabbar, Ministry of Posts & Telecommunications has graced the inaugural event as the Chief Guest. Among others, Munim Hossain Rana (former General Secretary of Bangladesh Computer Samity) joined from Dallas, USA, Ahmed Hassan Jewel (former President of BCS Computer City and former General Secretary of Bangladesh Computer Samity) from Malaysia, Abdullah H Kafi, Managing Director of J.A.N Associates, Md. Sabur Khan, former President of Bangladesh Computer Samity and Chairman of Daffodil Group, and former and current leaders of BCS Computer City attended the virtual event. While running President of BCS Computer City AL Mazhar Imam Chowdhury (Pinu Chowdhury) presided over the virtual event in the morning.

Besides, the formality of the four-day-long ceremony started by cutting a cake in the afternoon. Shahid-Ul-Munir, President, Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS), A L Mozher Imam Chowdhury (Pinu Chowdhury), President, BCS Computer City, Coordinator of the celebration program Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, Secretary, BCS Computer City, and other leaders were also present at the event.

After the virtual inauguration in the morning, and the physical cake cutting event in the afternoon, sweetmeats were distributed among the present buyers at that time. The four-day event will end on September 14, 2021. ASUS, Avita, MSI, and Transcend participated in the event having four separate booths during this special celebration. Buyers will get various offers, special discounts, and attractive gifts on purchasing products from these businesses during the celebration period.
