Staff Repoter :: A reception discussion event on ‘Strengthening the Role of Southeast Asian Countries at OIC’ at the Hemanta Hall of Six Seasons Hotel on July 28 to a grand closure. The event was organized by South East Asian Co-Operation Foundation (SEACO) and Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Bangladesh Study Group.

The main prospect of this event was to discuss how the Southeast Asian countries can have a greater impact at OIC and how OIC can play a greater role on Global Trends as well as understanding the recent activities and future plans of SEACO Foundation.The event was well participated with Tan Sri Dr. Syed Hamid Albar along with Ambassador Mohammaed Mohsin, Chairman, SEACO Foundation, Mr.Salahuddin Kasem Khan, Executive Chairman, SEACO Foundation and other dignitaries of our country.

Tan Sri Dr. Syed Hamid Albar presented a keynote speech on Active and greater role of the OIC in Southeast Asian Countries.Mohammaed Mohsin talked about How OIC can have a greater role & their perspective on Global Trends & Economy followed by Mr. Salahuddin Kasem Khan who gave insights on the recent developments of SEACO Foundation and its way forward.

The last session was carried by Mr. Ashfaq Zaman, CPA, President, LEAD and Coordinator, OIC Study Group. He summarized the key points & briefly discussed about OIC Study Group.There was also an open moderation session where remarks were made by special guests and Ambassadors.
