Staff Repoter :: The leading digital services provider, Robi, is going to set up an innovation lab in the country’s most prestigious business school, Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between these organizations in this regard today.

Robi’s Managing Director and CEO, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed and IBA’s Director, Prof. Dr. Syed Ferhat Anwar signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations at the IBA premises. Under the agreement, Robi will set up a state-of-the-art ‘Innovation Lab’ in the newly renovated IBA library premises. Key focus of the Lab will be to introduce IBA students to the latest developments in data analytics, block chain, Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. Besides, the Lab will facilitate the students to come up with real-life innovative digital business ideas.

Robi’s Chief Corporate and Regulatory Officer, Shahed Alam along with high officials of Robi and senior IBA faculty members were present on the occasion. Robi will collaborate with IBA to conduct market research projects on new products, brand and persona identification to help the company determine the best ways to serve the digitally native consumers.
