Staff Repoter :: Go Zayaan and Travel Booking Bangladesh (TBBD) announced that the legal merger has been completed, and the new company will now operate under the name Go Zayaan.

The merger news was disclosed by Ridwan Hafiz, Founder of Go Zayaan. He said, “We are pleased to have reached the completion phase of merger with TBBD. This merger will take Go Zayaan to the next level in terms of scale and soon to be the largest company in the local travel industry.”

Go Zayaan started its journey on August 2017 with the intention of serving tech savvy travelers of Bangladesh by providing one-stop travel solution online. It is the first ever online platform in Bangladesh that accepts payment from both local currency cards as well as mobile financial services like bkash.

TBBD was established in 2014 and is one of the first digital travel platform in Bangladesh. TBBD specializes in exclusive travel services for families, and corporate groups. Kashef Rahman, Founder of TBBD says, ”We will be investing significantly into the technology platform as we want to make the best customer experience for when the local consumer moves from offline to online travel bookings.”

The merger and investment behind the new Go Zayaan is by Data Bird Limited, a company dedicated to building Bangladesh Internet ecosystem.
